We've received a notice that the owners at 4709 NE 19th are proposing to convert their basement into an Accessory Dwelling Unit. This project will involve pouring a new foundation for the house, which requires an adjustment to the setback. City Code requires a 5 foot setback, but the new foundation will have only a 4 foot 6 inch setback. We will be discussing this proposed adjustment at the LUTC meeting on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, in the upstairs conference room at Whole Foods at 7:00 pm. If you have feedback on this proposal, please contact the Sabin LUTC Chair, Rachel Lee at [email protected], or submit a comment on the proposal directly to the City. The deadline for comments to the City on this proposal is 5:00 pm on January 12, 2015.
