We've received notice that the owners have applied for a permit to demolish the house at 4633 NE 18th.
The Sabin LUTC has a new meeting time! We're going to start meeting at 8:30 pm on the second Wednesday of each month, immediately following the Sabin Community Association Board meeting. Attached is the agenda for next Monday's meeting, which includes a special guest, Kendal Hansen of Lovett Deconstruction. The LUTC discusses and comments on demolition notices, and has recently voiced support for the city's new deconstruction policy. At next Monday's meeting Kendal Hansen of Lovett Deconstruction has agreed to join us and share perspectives on the deconstruction process. This is a great opportunity for the LUTC to become more informed about deconstruction - how it works, how long it takes, what it costs, when it's suitable, etc. We will also be able to learn more about the treatment of lead, asbestos and dust during any tear down process. This should be an interesting and informative discussion and I hope many will attend. ![]()
